Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel Sofer is an American
actressand model, well-known for her appearances on live television, episodic
guest appearances and made-for-television films. In 1995, Sofer received a
Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General
Hospital. Quinn Fuller has been her role in the CBS soap the show The Bold and
The Beautiful since 2013. Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (a psychologist
professor) and Martin Sofer (a Conservative rabbi). Her family later moved to
Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Then, she moved with her father, David Sofer, to
Teaneck, New Jersey in 1970. However, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania when
she was a kid. They lived in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, where her father was the
director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Then, she went to the Frisch School in
Paramus, New Jersey, which is a coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish
high-school. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the
synagogue's rabbi Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High
School in 1998, she continued her education at Montclair State College. Sofer
first appeared as Lois Marie Cerullo on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked
as managing a band. Her first television role was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime
soap hosting host. Sofer is most likely best known for her character Lois
Cerullo on General Hospital (December 15 1993 - September 24, 1996). Later ,
she was back on the show as a guest star (February 7 1997 - September 30, 1997
October 2 1997 October 2nd, 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award for
Outstanding Supporting Actress on the Drama Series for her performance in the
role of Lois. Sofer was asked to be a part of CBS' soap opera The Bold and the
Beautiful in the role she had just created as Quinn Fuller. Her first episode
aired on the 12th of July. Sofer has appeared as a guest actor/supporting cast
member in a variety of primetime high-profile TV shows, including Seinfeld and
Melrose Place. The first episode of her debut aired on July 12.
