Rochon was the only baby born to Zelma Staples. An entrepreneur, she is also the daughter Zelma's nurse specialist. Cerritos high school in Cerritos was where she graduated from. She earned her bachelor's of broadcast journalism with minors from sociology and theater in the California State University Dominguez hills (CSUDH). Ullerup first appeared first in Battlestar Galactica remake, the Sci-Fi Channel's television show. The role she played was Julia Brynn. The actress played Ashley Magnus in the first and second seasons of the tv show Sanctuary up until her character was removed from the show. The reason for her departure caused heated debate among the supporters. Many wanted to bring the character back for a future episodes. However, the show ended in 2012. Ullerup was later cast as Bree O'Brien for Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was the character Maggie Thomas in Asteroid: Final Impact, the movie about the 2015 disaster. Since 2016 Ullerup has had a recurring character as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films series.
